"I make both functional and non-functional objects using high-fired ceramic stoneware and porcelain. I beat, build, embed, pierce, scrape and squash, imbuing them with emotional warmth and tenderness. I hope that the objects are a pleasure to use, view, and hold. My aim is to inspire the user, pointing them beyond the banality of everyday life to the wonders of nature and beauty."


Artist Bio
Bridget Bodenham completed a Diploma of Arts (Ceramics), The University of Ballarat, 2006 and was selected by Craft Victoria for the Fresh! Award. In 2008 she exhibited in Japan, was a finalist in the Bombay Sapphire Design Discovery Award and was part of My Pet Rock, Pieces of Eight Gallery. In 2009 Bridget exhibited in Germany, taking part in the ‘Talente’ International Trade Fair. She is currently based in Hepburn Springs, Victoria.
