Pieces of Eight
Artists | Yuko Fujita
Yuko Fujita’s brings an inherent sense of unity to her pieces in both colour and form. Their manufacture is both curious and seamless leaving the viewer somewhat in awe of their very presence. Her pieces are playful and expressive, buoyant in their resolution, reflecting the artist’s unique interpretations of natural forms.

“My work is an exploration of visual translation through the interplay of the fundamental qualities of the materials, textures, shape and colours I use. My spontaneous reaction to the materials never creates the same outcome and allows me to visualise obscure images into sculptural jewellery.”
