 " When travelling to faraway places in any dimension, verbal language doesn't always quite cut it and communication takes on alternate forms. Listening to faces instead of words, reading signs instead of sentences, trusting instinct... Jewellery is so intimate in its nature, in its scale and placement upon the body. Through this intimacy I want to convey to others moments and feelings and thoughts that are close to me. Sometimes I translate my drawings into objects and sometimes I lose myself in the materials in the moments of making. It's fun, if sometimes dark, just human.
