Artists | Natalia Milosz-Piekarska
"Sifting through history and mythology, Natalia Milosz-Piekarska draws inspiration from hallowed jewels to create a body of work that echo’s a multitude of sacred motifs and applications. Working with timber, silver, beading, paint and collected ephemera, Natalia assembles her whimsical treasures with an intuitive and spirited approach. Her intention is not to recreate or imbue established beliefs into her pieces, but rather create works that emanate a sense of mystery, reverence and potency."


Artist Bio
Natalia Milosz-Piekarska completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Hons, Gold and Silversmithing), RMIT University, 2008. She was awarded the RMIT Kathryn Harris and Ernst Fries acquisitive awards as well as being a finalist in the 2008 Siemens’ Fine Art Prize. Natalia has exhibited at Craft Victoria, e.g. etal, Object Gallery and Studio 20/17. She was a recent recipient of an Australian Arts Council ArtStart grant and is currently working on various exhibition projects and limited series.
