The workshop had been functioning for several months as renovations on the building continued, and it was a great relief and satisfaction to finally be able to open to the public! The opening was held throughout the entire ground floor of the building, allowing the guests to view the workshop as well as the gallery. It was a wonderful warm night, with people spilling onto the street and the party continuing on afterwards with a BBQ at the lawn bowls club across the road from the gallery.
