 The Age

"Elfrun Lach has set a red plastic lid (from one of those take-away fish-shaped soy sauce containers) on to a refined silver ring as if it's the most precious stone. Other times she's incorporated red plastic pen lids on to a necklace or a threaded up white and smashed recycled plastic.
But it's all a matter of context and, here the colours and shapes of this consumer detritus don't seem so different from Lach's less rubbishy embellishments like glass beads or corals. Until July 15."
