Craig of Somebuddy Loves You and Julia Deville are two notables. Thirteen additional jewellery designers have been rounded up for the My Pet Rock exhibition at Pieces of Eight gallery in Fitzroy North. The theme is rocks as a woman's best friend. You know, diamonds and all that jazz. The concept has been interpreted loosely and literally, and the show contains 63 pieces ranging from highly polished citrines and white gold to comical plastic toys with precious metal details. A highlight is the uber-cute desk buddy, Millagodzilla by Dougal Haslem.
