 The Melbourne Design Guide December, 2006 Don't be fooled by it's relative infancy on the Melbourne design map, because Pieces of Eight is growing up quickly. Featuring plenty of contributions from local artists, six of whom work in the on-site studio and workshop, the gallery focuses on producing unique and limited edition jewellery. The aim is for art to be conceptual but wearable. And the future's bright too, with a vision that includes eventual exhibitions and residencies from top international names.
