This November, Pieces of Eight presents two exclusive new collections by renowned South Australian designers Daniel + Emma and jeweller Peta Kruger. Daniel + Emma draw on their industrial design backgrounds to present a bespoke collection of one-off jewellery boxes which respond to, and house the jewels designed by Peta Kruger.
Daniel To and Emma Aiston established their design studio DANIEL EMMA in 2008, to enable them to express their thoughts through industrial design. Their studio works on a large variety of projects, ranging from desk objects to installations. They look to create the unexpected from simple objects using simple forms, drawing influence and insight from the diverse culture that Australia presents them with.
Their designs aim to be ‘just nice’.
