My collection focuses on our connection to sunlight. From its revitalising endorphins & serotonin to the emblazoned paintings of the sky it offers at the rising and setting of each day. My pieces act as talismans, accompanying us on our journey and reminding us to connect with nature and the sun; to embrace the nurturing, balancing energy it radiates to us.
Melbourne based jeweller Ele Miško studied Fine Art, majoring in Metals & Jewellery. This course led to her challenging the traditional notions of jewellery design and fabrication by pushing boundaries of concept and form. She embraces new technologies such as CAD design and 3D printing, as well as traditional handcrafted techniques, to create pieces that are unique and at the forefront of design.
Ele recently completed certificates in diamond, coloured gemstone and pearl grading at the Gemmological Institute of America. She has lived and travelled all of the world in both big city urban environments and the countryside. She attributes this dichotomy to the many themes she explores conceptually throughout her collections.
