"On my overseas gem sourcing travels I spend hours sorting through fine gems, always looking for something unusual. It’s not an easy task but every now and then I find something rare and special like these untreated sapphire slices and geometric rose cut white diamonds. I spent about 18 months deciding how to use these gems before designing this series of one-off earrings to best highlight their amazingly unique shapes and colours."
