"What I like to call tough/pretty, this is a pastel delicacy with en edge. I wanted to contrast the feminine and masculine in the gem, through its cut and the setting. A halo of white diamonds compliments the pink morganite; using a black ruthenium plating just around these diamonds set them off and adds another dramatic element."
