Peta Kruger

My recent works are created with thin brass sheet, which I fold and paint in order to achieve a variety of forms. The designs consider the space surrounding jewellery, how the pieces will touch and connect with places, people, things and ideas.
Peta Kruger is an alumni of the Adelaide JamFactory's Associate program in the Metal Design Studio (2009-2012). Kruger studied at the Adelaide Centre for the Arts, undertook traineeships with several jewellers in London, and completed a mentorship with contemporary jeweller Karl Fritsch. Kruger has exhibited with jewellery galleries in Australia and New Zealand, and in 2018 she was commissioned to create public artworks for Steam Mill Lane, Sydney. She is currently a Masters by Research student at the University of South Australia, and has held numerous solo exhibitions at Pieces of Eight.
