"These earrings are inspired by microscopic imagery of butterfly and moth wings. The colourful wing patterns are made up of thousands of tiny scales. Each one comes from a single cell and is monochromatic. The scales work together like pixels to create the colours and patterns we see. Each sequin is handmade and coloured using keum-boo in 18ct and 24ct gold."
