It is part of a range titled ‘An orchid dreams…’ that follow imaginative and material threads of continuity between animal, plant, object, and our perceptions of animate and in-animate. By tracing silica as a compositional component of the bodies of plants, the bones of animals, the exo-skeletons of marine organisms, and cultural objects such as glass ornaments, these sculptures and jewellery pieces suggest an expanded locus of subjectivity, and a shared universal body, as they materialise a flow of becoming across and between forms of life and objects of the imagination.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003e\u003cspan style=\"mso-fareast-language: EN-GB;\"\u003eAn Orchid Dreams is on display at Pieces of Eight Gallery from October 19-31, 2026.
