A Bespoke Creation: The Making of Anne's Skyline Ring

Some of the most extraordinary designs are sparked by a client’s imagination. For me, there’s nothing more rewarding than creating something one of a kind for someone who places their confidence in my work. Anne is one such client.

When we first met, Anne was accompanied by her son, one of my most delightful long-time supporters. The three of us had the most wonderful time bonding over a shared love of coloured gems and a certain brand of dark humour. Anne's own collection was a sight to behold, a vibrant array of bold gold, diamond, and coloured gemstone rings, worn with effortless confidence.

The time we spent talking, sharing stories, and looking at jewellery together was essential to finding the right direction. When I realised Anne was drawn to my signature Skyline Ring, the creative process truly began. Given her love for chunkier, more curvaceous styles, I was inspired to imagine a larger, more extravagant version of my original design. The end result was altogether different, a unique and more elaborate take on the classic Skyline, designed just for Anne.

Through detailed drawings, Anne signed off on the direction, which included her favourite gemstone combination: deep red rubies and brilliant white diamonds. I was thrilled to be given the opportunity to extend myself creatively and bring this glamorous piece to life.

The final ring is a true original for a wonderful, vibrant woman. It’s a piece to be worn often, to bring joy, and to be treasured as a future heirloom.

From first conversations to treasured heirlooms, bespoke jewellery is a journey I feel honoured to share. I’d love to welcome you to Russell Place to begin your own.
