Open House Melbourne 2026

Created for Open House Melbourne 2026, these limited-edition handblown glass vessels are part of an exclusive installation celebrating design, craft, and architectural narrative.

A collaboration between Pieces of Eight and Foolscap Studio—the interior architecture practice behind our flagship Russell Place gallery—the project transforms "cullet" (reclaimed raw glass offcuts from the glassblowing process) into sculptural art.
Masterfully suspended within clear, handblown glass by artist Hamish Donaldson, these vibrant offcuts evoke the fractured elegance of stained glass. As the molten inclusions settle naturally during the glass blowing process, no two vessels are alike; each piece is an entirely unique, unrepeatable work.
