3.71ct round brilliant cut green Australian parti sapphire.
This charming and impressively sized parti sapphire was sourced on my travels into Queensland's sapphire country from an elderly miner called Norman. He'd mined and cut this sapphire himself from a large piece of rough he was delighted to discover one day. It's a beautiful specimen filled with vibrant colours; a stunning example of a parti sapphire. The brilliant cut is slightly wonky and uneven, due to Norman's age and skill, and is by no means perfect. However I love this stone for it's unique charm and story. A spectacular gem for a special ring.
