Sourcing unique gemstones is one of my favourite things about being a jeweller. It's the ultimate treasure hunt. The stones I find inspire new ideas and directions in my work and give me a great sense of excitement. With the pandemic, I've not been able to travel the way I used to on sourcing adventures. However, since I have many excellent contacts within the gem industry, it's still possible to discover new gems to fall in love with, albeit remotely.
