"Inspired by Rococo decorative arts and a love of natural history, this vase is part of my 'Ornament Crimes' series. Created in resin, using gravity and rotational casting techniques, it recreates the shape of a classical vase. Combining Orientalism, stylised snake handles, and botanical forms, it draws on a long history of zoomorphism in the decorative arts. The generous proportions mean it can be a stand-alone sculptural piece or a vase fit for epic floral arrangements."
