Materials -
9ct yellow gold and baroque pearls.
Sold as one pair, and one earring is painted both sides.

These are artworks first. The hand-painted surface is delicate and will scratch or wear away if not treated carefully — please think of them as collector pieces for occasional, considered wear rather than everyday earrings.

Store each pair in its own pouch or box, separately, so the painted surfaces never rub against anything — including each other. Avoid all abrasive surfaces, chemicals and perfume, and never expose them to water.

Worn thoughtfully and stored well, they'll keep for a lifetime. They are one-of-a-kind and never to be repeated.

Miranda Skoczek is a Melbourne-based painter whose radiant, ornamental abstractions draw on the pattern, colour and motif of decorative traditions across cultures and centuries.

A graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts, where she won the painting prize in 2004, she has exhibited consistently across Australia's commercial galleries and art fairs, including Sydney Contemporary. Recent solo exhibitions include Paradise Garden (2025) at Edwina Collette Gallery.

In 2025 she undertook a residency at the Australian Tapestry Workshop, where her 2024 oil painting Flowers for Gosia was translated into tapestry with weaver David Pearce and shown with the ATW at Melbourne Art Fair 2026. Her work is held in the Artbank collection and in institutional, corporate and private collections across Australia, Asia, the Middle East and the United Kingdom, and she features in Amber Creswell Bell's Australian Abstract.
