The Architecture of Home and Heritage
There are places that do more than shelter us; they shape us. For Melanie Katsalidis, the family beach house at St Andrews Beach is one such place. Completed in 1992 and designed by her architect father, Nonda Katsalidis, the structure is a masterclass in coastal brutalism and environmental harmony.
To celebrate our classic Pearl collection, we spent the day at this iconic site - a location that mirrors the very ethos of the Melanie Katsalidis brand: design excellence, longevity, and a deep respect for form.

The Creative Vision
The shoot was a collaborative symphony, captured through the discerning lens of photographer Heather Lighton with assistance from Dan Aulsebrook. Against the raw, weathered textures of the family home, the ethereal lustre of Melanie’s pearls found their perfect counterpoint.

"To shoot in a place so intrinsically linked to my design DNA was incredibly moving," Melanie reflects. "The house has a permanent, sculptural quality that reflects how I view jewellery. It should be timeless, enduring, and tell a story that spans generations."
