Description

Screen made from the skin texture of an Orangutan. Human constructed shapes and cultural stamps are cut out and through which the viewer can peer.

Rewilding is a new body of rings, neckpieces, and earrings by Lisa Roet. Continuing her exploration of the human–nature connection, these works invite wearers to embrace their instinctive selves. By reawakening the “monkey within,” Roet reflects on our shared place in the natural world.
