Snack Palace for La Grande Fête is a playful collection of jewellery boxes inspired by the irresistible world of snacks, sweets and late-night treats. Designed by Daniel Emma, each piece transforms everyday cravings into colourful objects for the home; part treasure box, part tabletop sculpture. With chunky forms, unexpected details and a sense of humour throughout, these objects bring a little joy, nostalgia and indulgence to storing your favourite things.
The artists who responded to this object include Julia Storey's 'Sunny Side' ring and Seb Brown's 'Egg' ring. Please note, rings are sold separately to jewellery boxes.
La Grande Fête (The Grand Feast) is a curated contemporary jewellery exhibition presented as part of Melbourne Design Week 2026. It brings together makers and designers in conversation with a collection of sculptural, food-inspired jewellery boxes by celebrated Australian design duo DANIEL + EMMA.
This box is part of our La Grande Fête exhibition and must remain in the gallery until May 30th, 2026.
