"'Near & Far' is titled for the journey these materials have been on, beginning with their genesis deep within the layers of Australia's earth. A sapphire plucked from Tomahawk Creek, Queensland, then cut by hand in Adelaide, South Australia, joins forces with three glistening champagne diamonds from the Argyle mine in Western Australia, encased in recycled Australian gold. They all came together on my bench in Melbourne, and who knows where their next journey will take them - a wearable showcase of Australia's finest materials."
