Genevieve's Garnet Ring
William Llewellyn Griffiths
"Named after Saint Genevieve, patron saint of Paris, due to the starburst facets in the central garnet reflecting the joie de vivre of the city of lights. The stone is a highly unusual pale pinky mauve colour change lotus garnet that has been enhanced using cutting edge faceting tools, currently pioneered by lapidarists in the US. Colour change garnets are treasured for their ability to alter colour in different light. Colour change garnets historically symbolise transformation and adaptability. Intricately handcrafted in 18ct yellow gold and featuring a signature William Llewellyn Griffiths split shank and Neo-Classical garland setting decorated with fine floral details. Flanking the central stone are two teal sapphires which compliment the central garnet elegantly."
