"I was inspired by Dorothea Mackellar’s famous poem 'My Country'. Here are some parts of the poem:
I love a sunburnt country, I love her far horizons,
The hot gold hush of noon.
Core of my heart, my country! Land of the Rainbow Gold.
I have made a ring based on the unique colours of Australia: 9ct rose gold (the red earth) and a round brilliant cut (golden sun) golden-yellow Australian opal - with a touch of rainbow."
